Posting the final number.... 200!!!!
The scale finally read 200 pounds this morning. That is 140 freakin fat filled pounds forever felled from my frame. Below are pictures from the beginning up until today.
While the tank top shirts are for fun, they are also posted to disprove a critique that many low carb critics like to claim. They will tell you that you lose weight, but much of that weight is muscle because you need carbs for energy and with out the carbs your body will break down muscle to get that fuel. Well guess what? The pics demonstrate that you can get in good physical condition on a low carb regime. It is more than just losing weight, it is about reshaping, remolding and remodeling you physique.
I lift weights six days a week working each body part 2x/week. I designed and follow a very specific routine that sheds fat and tones muscle.
When I began last year I could not walk more than 1/4 mile without getting winded. I currently run:
1 to 1.5 miles 2x/week
2 to 2.5 miles 2x/week
3 to 3.5 miles 2x/week
I average just under a 10 minute mile. Not setting any records, but considering when I finally could run 1 mile my time was 18 minutes, I am pretty happy.
As I have stated, if I did it — you can do it. I will be launching Joe Leonardi’s Fat Then Fit Now body remodeling systems in the next 3 weeks.

This morning the scale read 201 pounds. My goal was 200 by today, I missed it by one pound, but I have no complaints.
One year ago today was the first day in years that I stepped on a scale. The reading: 340 pounds. It was that day I made the decision that fat was no way to live. Of course, the next couple of days were spent splurging: The last Pizza, the last French Fries, The last Pasta, that last Dusty Road Sundae at Blue Ribbon. They weren’t really the last, but for a while I would touch none of my old fattening friends. Four days later on March 5th I reactivated my membership at Danko’s All American Fitness Center and the next day March 6th a very fat, unfit and embarrassed rotund figure walked back in the gym and with renewed passion and fire began an odyssey from Fat Then to Fit Now.
